Wild Card Wednesday: Lace Up

As much as I love a great black dress, I have been quite obsessed with white dresses lately, especially lacy ones!  I have been surprising myself by reaching more and more for ultra-feminine pieces like this dress.
At first, I thought it might be too saccharine sweet for me, so I paired it with a black blazer and a metallic belt, but the more I played around with it, the more that I loved the dress as is!  Plus, this dress is from ELOQUII’s petite line, and it is such a perfect fit without alterations, a rare blessing for me!  I don’t want to always cover up such a great fit and the sheer sleeves with a blazer, so I love that the dress looks great worn alone!
I love the soft blush lining that is nude-to-me, so I decided to play that up with a matching blush clutch and blush heels. The lace-up detail on the shoes is such a flirty touch.
I wanted to add a small pop of color, and I thought that these mint green drop earrings looked really great against the white.
Between the lace, the sheer organza, the ruffles, and the blush color, this look is so crazy feminine, but I love that it also has a chicness to it.  It doesn’t just feel “pretty” – it also feels kind of cool!Do you like frilly or lacy pieces?
