I am always here for pieces that can be styled in a variety of ways. When I first purchased this dress, I really didn’t envision how versatile it could be – I just really liked the design.Once I tried it on though, I immediately realized how many ways I could style it.
Look 1: Evening Elegance
My first thought was to cinch the dress with a belt and pair it with strappy heels for an evening look. The blazer and heels really dress up this casual piece, and I love taking a black blazer out of the office and into a nice restaurant.
I pulled this knit military blazer out of the back of my closet. I am really not sure why I don’t wear it more often. It’s super comfy and fits really well. Plus, I’m always a sucker for gold buttons and hardware.
Look 2: Comfortable Cool
For a trip to the mall with the family a few weekends ago, I layered the dress over a simple tee and added a cropped moto jacket and motorcycle boots.
The striped clutch helped bring the look together. I love how comfortable this look was, and I have a feeling this look will be playing on repeat quite a bit.Look 3: Cozy Casual
The last look is my least favorite of the three, but I have to say that it was a great for a recent weekend hangout with the family. I also really like the combination of fall colors.
My brother just moved back home after living in South Carolina for over fifteen years, and we got together recently for homemade tacos and chit chat. This outfit was great for the chilly fall day and made family time feel just a little more cozy!
Have you found any surprisingly versatile finds lately? Which look is your favorite? How would you style this dress?
