Manic Monday: Winter Comfort

Winter work style can sometimes be difficult.  Winter makes me want to curl up and hibernate, and I have spent most of the last month dealing with one illness after another.  Even though it’s against my desire to live in sweatpants, I still have to get dressed for work.  I have to look professional, but winter style is definitely about staying comfortable and feeling relaxed.
Since duty still calls, I opt for knit dressing as much as possible.  This crochet knit skirt and black tee are the height of comfort, but the streamlined fit makes the look feel more polished.  The army green trench-style vest is a substantial weight, making it a good winter topper.  The vest also adds contrast and a little more style to the simple underpinnings.
I finished the look with booties and a large tote with gold hardware.  A gold cuff and a fun pom pom add personality. How do you do winter work style?  What is your winter work style go-to?  Any favorite styles or looks for when you’re sick but still have to adult?
