Sorry for my absence from the blog. My computer was in the shop, and I didn’t have access to my photos or photo editing program for almost two weeks!!! Being without my computer made me realize how much of an appendage it has become. LOL I felt sooooo lost without it!!
My computer is all fixed up, and I’m back this week with some new posts, the first of which is this easy work look. I love lace – it’s so feminine and romantic. This dress, with its rosy beige lining, crochet lace, scalloped hem, and sheer organza details, feels really special. It was also a perfect fit out of the package!!! It’s such a sweet rarity to get a perfect fit without alterations that I have to give ELOQUII Petites a huge shout out!!Since I was going to work, I wanted to give this ultra-feminine piece a more serious and structured feel. I added a black suit jacket and heels for a contrast. To add even more contrast, this time to the floral lace pattern, I went with a large striped clutch. A gold belt adds a little polish. It’s been unseasonably warm here, so I opted for bare legs. For extra chilly days, I would go with opaque black tights and booties. This dress will be perfect for spring, but in the meantime, it’s a great transitional piece!!
