Dress Week 3: Black and White for Evening

Happy Friday everyone!

Dress:  The Limited (old)
Moto jacket:  Peter Som for Kohl’s (Available here)

Dress Week 3 continues today with a fun black and white look that’s perfect for going out on a Friday night.

I paired a black ruched mini dress with an ivory knit moto jacket and open-toe booties for a easy rock-n-roll inspired evening look.

Boots:  Target (Available here)
Clutch:  The Limited

I added gold metal accessories to play up the hardware on the jacket and the gold sole of the booties.

Bangles:  The Limited and Target (Available here, here, and here)
Necklace:  Ixora Boutique (Sold out; View here)

Are you going out at all this weekend?  What do you plan on wearing?

  1. Certain prints are strange to me. These glasses prints on this dress doesn't freak me out in the least sense, but it does make for a pretty cool dress. I like the jacket. The peep-toe booties add to the edginess of this outfit without overdoing it or killing the offbeat style of the dress. I dig this one.

  2. This outfit surely suggests a night-out look, and a night out look that isn't entirely sweet and innocent. The dress itself is very nice, but it is really the jacket and the peep-toe booties that gives this outfit some character. Styled this one very well, Cassandra. Well done! Also, you have yet another lovely close-up picture. 🙂

  3. I actually think the colors go together well, I think because the moto jacket is neutral color that it works with the black and white print of the dress. Then the pastel pink of your tote adds a little color to the outfit, so I think the colors work well with the outfit.

  4. Thanks Nina! I like the jacket with the dress, but I wasn't sure about the blush tote…maybe if it was a brighter/bolder color.
